Thank PBS' Ombudsman For Providing Climate Clarity

Last week, over 18,000 Forecast the Facts members called on PBS Ombudsman Michael Getler to review the NewsHour's horrible climate change segment featuring denier Anthony Watts. Getler responded, and identified several areas where the NewsHour had "stumbled badly," and fallen short of their standards. Getler's column sets an excellent example for media outlets across the country. Join us in thanking him for taking a strong stand for accurate climate coverage.

Thank you for examining the September 17th NewsHour piece on climate change. By identifying the false balance, politicized frames, and unchallenged inaccuracies which pervaded the piece, you provided clear guidelines for accuracy in climate coverage.
