Tell Your Meteorologist Why You Want to Hear About Climate Change
As the weather grows more extreme, TV audiences nationwide are looking out their window, wondering what's going on. We need weathercasters to draw the connection between climate change and extreme weather events. This week, TV meteorologists will gather in Boston for the AMS' Conference on Broadcast Meteorology. This presents us with a great opportunity to let broadcast meteorologists know: their viewers depend on them for information about climate change.
Please contribute a comment about why you care about climate change — whether it’s because of your children’s future, a climate disaster that has affected your family, your concern for farmers hit by drought, or anything else.
