Thanks to the 10,000 people who signed petitions, Tweeted and raised awareness on Facebook to take down these apps. Also, we thank Google for hearing our outrage and removing the apps. This may seem like a small victory, but it made an important statement: that minorities will not simply accept dated and offensive stereotypes. We stood up, our voices were heard, and something changed. I hope that our society will take notice and realize that previously voiceless communities will not stay quiet any more.

They say there's an app for everything, but an app for racism goes too far.
According to the “Make me Asian” app, Asian = rice paddy hat, Fu Manchu mustache, small eyes, and yellow skin. That’s racist!
What’s equally unbelievable is that these offensive apps are available on Google Play, one of the largest app stores.
That's not all, though: KimberyDeiss also has an app called "Make Me Indian," which protrays Native Americans as wearing "war paint," feather headbands, and having accentuated cheekbones, heavy brows, and broad noses. These apps are incredibly racist and perpetuate damaging stereotypes.
